Great deal, I love buying stuff used, especialy high end guns that you would upgrade anyway. Not exactly gas but here is my Maruzen APS type 96: clickBought it used as a base an upgraded from there.

| Slick. I rarely buy anything new (except for hard to find parts).
Hunting for bargains is one of the funnest parts of airsoft.

Thanks man, yeah it sure is a beast of a gun! Yes, the wires do stick out, but there's a way of attaching them to the back of the bullet belt to hide them. - ilovemybike wrote:

I love the fake bullet setup! Do all M249's have that? Hahaha, yeah that's my M249. No, if you get an M249 (the Classic Army) then you will have to buy some bullets to go on the side. The bullets on mine are dummy bullets and were very very easy to install. I believe the A&K M249 and Echo1 M249 (just the rebranded A&K) doesn't have a bullet belt and must be bought seperately just like the CA. I got my bullet belt off ebay for like $25 shipped or something like that. It came in a 100rd belt. You will only need 12 bullets for the belt on the gun and that's it, so you have like 88 bullets left to play with!

| Do tell what you plan on using that for? I'm guessing that your gun has consumed too many bb's and has gained some weight over that last few months and now it's time to cut-back on the calori-BB's? | |

| Well yes, it does consume a bit much. But it only gains weight from judicious use of aluminum and stainless steel. I am begginning to weigh my guns and upgrades, and review pieces, etc. Just another way of gaging what is going on. Such as this example: | |

| The only time I see scales like that used is... nevermind, lol. My old roommate used to sell some stuff that sometimes required a scale, and soon he'll be a high school history teacher. What is this world coming to?
At least some people use digital scales for legitimate reasons. I'm curious as to some of the relevence of weighing parts that I have likely overlooked. Is there a way to get the wieght balance of a gun with only one scale? I know if you set it across two scales of equil height set side by side you can easily figure it out, but I can't seem to remember if it works the same with a stationary object next to a scale.

No TM 1911 with PGC MBK (and the stock weighted grips). Just a way of showing what might be affecting performance.

| I don't know either, but it has that rail, and I don't like Aimpoints. What can I say, sometimes I just don't know if I like something until I have it... | |

I like the idea, maybe just something a little smaller.
